King Mswati who is in a three -day State visit in Uganda invited by President Museveni was amazed by the motor development project at Kiira Motors Plant in Jinja Dustrict which is 100% locally owned and managed. Earlier today 15th August, the Presidential Committee was briefed on the unfortunate disaster at Kiteezi KCCA garbage landfill. The team disclosed death of 30 local individuals, men, women and children retrieved from the rubble since Saturday. Though many have been identified by families and relatives, 2 bodies are unclaimed while others are still declared missing. Few months into existence of the State House Investors Protection Unit, Col. Edith Nakalema is flooded with bribery complaints from both local and international investors.The facility was established by President Museveni in September 2023 to curb corruption and promote investments.
