In Feb 2021, Dominic Ongwen was charged with 61 counts of crimes against humanity and war crimes allegedly committed after 1st July 2002 in Northern Uganda. He was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment with a deduction of time spent in detention between January 2015 to May 2021. A bright day as Uganda’s most important agent of government National Water and Sewerage Corporation celebrates 50 years in service with the theme accelerating sustainable water and sanitation for all. The corporation is applauded for increased clean piped water and managed Sewerage.
