The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) yesterday 30th March marked sixty years of existence and extension of support to various government projects in Uganda in a formal ceremony held at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala. The US Mission country director Richard Nelson and US ambassador to Uganda Natalie Brown stated clearly that US government is committed to supporting more projects including ending HIV/AIDS in 2030. It’s alleged that the Minister for Karamoja affairs Mary Goretti Kitutu was involved in theft and abuse of office by violating the process of distribution of iron sheets which led to the arrest of some family members who were suspected to be beneficiaries.
