Taylor Swift started and ended the MTV Video Music Awards scooping four awards in just one night that is; Video of the year, Artist of the year, Song of the year and Best Pop. Taylor who just concluded her world tour weeks ago was overwhelmed with the awards.

Other artists that won were Nicky Minaj for Best Hip-Hop for the song Super Freaky, Republic records, Karol G featuring Shakira Best Collaboration for the song ‘TQG’ by Universal records Latino and several winners.

P. Diddy (Sean Combs) performed his hits through out the 30-year career and was honored with the Global Icon Awards, not forgetting a mega comeback performance from the ‘She Wolf’ Shakira who also accepted the Video Vanguard Award.
