How do you define yourself? Are you successful or you are on the road to success? Success is very broad and we determine how to get a hold of it. There is a common misconception of success and successful people but the truth is, it can be small or big; the margin depends on the desires and efforts one puts in.
Passion and Hardwork
Success in something definitely goes hand in hand with consistent hard work and passion. It’s always a beautiful feeling to rise in something you are passionate about, however passion and hard work is not enough, we must work smartly and skillfully with goals and objectives. It’s a good thing to be driven by passion but carefully following objectives of our dreams is the password to success.
Strategy and Decision Making
In a competitive economy, well researched strategies are necessary to execute and implement objectives. A good strategy is the first achievement in the pursuit of success. Everything we do in life depends on the decisions we make, successful people were able to make it because of the decisions they made in life. Making good decisions is what makes one a good strategist. Some of the bad decisions we make in life is what has qualified us to register failure yet we have the ability pursue better life.
Success is associated with sacrifice.
If you want to achieve anything you must be prepared to face rough path but the good news is that in the end you will not regret and no one will condemn you for suffering because people condemn failure.
Welfare and success are like twins.
The standard of living always goes up as one climbs the ladder. Welfare is a measure of success. This is the time where one determines if the sacrifices have paid off. At this point no one is interested in the past but the current status, standard of living like assets acquired and acquaintances.
However, we must acknowledge that successful people do not only enjoy their wealth but work even harder and smartly to maintain their welfare. Those who along the way get consumed by prestige fall back to the struggles. With that said… we cannot call them poor but bankrupt, so the question is; what do you want people to call you?
