Mufti Ismail Ibn Musa Menk, the Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe Muslim Community is returning to Uganda once again on the 8th March 2023 for a public lecture at Makerere Freedom Grounds and will be hosted for a cooperate dinner at Kampala Serena hotel the next day for a cooperate dinner.
Saalam TV a sub-branch of Next Media has confirmed that Makerere event shall be a free whereas guests will pay a small token for the Serena dinner.
In 2021 the Zimbabwean renowned Muslim cleric who is popular for his intrinsic motivational speeches arrived in Uganda for a three-day visit that later on attracted several Muslims and non-Muslims and later met President Museveni at state house who precahed further peace and Uganda’s adverse tourism to him.
