Towards the end of the first half, United equalised in the 33rd-minute after a Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty. With the score at 1-1, City got the lead once again in the 51st-minute as Gundogan completed his brace for the day that climaxed the scoreline for the game.
The 32-year-old missed out because the Football Association ran out of medals, FA says they had given all of the medals out to the rest of the squad, leaving Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne without but got it after.
Manchester City now has possibility of winning three trophies with their next game being Inter Milan set to be played on this coming Saturday June 10th at Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Turkey.
