On their official website the legendaryEnglish reggae and pop band, formed in December 1978 in Birmingham, England stated that they are totally oblivious of any upcoming concert in Uganda.

“UB40 sincerely apologises to fans in Uganda and clarifies that we will NOT be performing in the upcoming concert, which is falsely billed as “UB40”, or” UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell”, The official UB40 group, distances itself from the upcoming show in Uganda, taking place at Kololo Independence Grounds” The message partly states
Known globally for their records awards and songs such as Red Red Wine, Dream A Lie, falling in love with you among others, the band has rose to fame with over 20 studio albums.
In a video seen by the Campusa Magazine, the band’s ex vocalist who has since left UB40 Ali Cambell confirms his performance in Uganda next month in a tour dubbed “UB40 Featuring Ali Cambel”.
“This will be the second and the last time UB40 will be coming to Uganda” stated one of Ali Cambel’s promotional video that has been airing on local Television stations.
Ali though retaliated to his ex-band through another statement bashing off the band’s claim.
Only Time will tell the truth!
