Manchester United are evaluating removing Antony from the squad after new complaints have emerged from his ex-girlfriend. The English club are under immense pressure after the CBF (Brazil National Team) had to withdraw the player from their squad for the upcoming friendly games this month. This comes after serious allegations of physical assault were hurled towards the player by his ex-girlfriend who claims the player viciously harmed her with an attack and threatened her with glass.
The federation issued a statement a day ago about the incident citing out that the Manchester united player will not be involved in their games during this international break. This rift comes weeks after Mason Greenwood faced the same fate of having to be withdrawn from the Manchester United squad following claims of domestic abuse that the court ruled out. Mason Greenwood has since traded to play for Club Futbol Getafe in Spain. We shall wait to see more developing stories form the Theatre of dreams regarding the news.
