Yesterday 3rd September, Police detonated a bomb at Pr. Robert Kayanja’s Miracle Centre Church in Rubaga. The suspected terrorist identified as a 28 year old Ibrahim Kintu confessed to having four bombs to carry out the mission but three were handed to three other accomplices.
” We got information that one terrorist had been sent on mission hence we put intelligences in several places though Miracle Centre was chosen due to their busy schedule with multitudes of believers. Police followed Kintu and he was arrested.” Police Spokeperson Onyango noted.
Kintu who allegedly wanted to blow himself up, concealed the identity of the bomb by smearing it with with food-like powder which if you’re checking would mistake for rice or posho and easily grant him entrance.
Though Ibrahim Kintu has been arrested, Police calls for vigilance as three bombs are confirmed by Kintu in the public in hands of three accomplices.
