Tension between the western power United States and Eastern giant Russia seems not to calm down. This comes when a US drone was brought down by a Russian aircraft into the international waters.
The Campusa Magazine confirmed that the “intentional collusion” happened early on Tuesday morning around 7 AM central European time.
It should be remembered that both countries have been on tension over Russian inversion of Ukraine early last year with Biden Government supporting Ukraine.
Pentagon mouthpiece was quick to inform press that an American unmanned reaper drone MQ-9 that was flying over Black Sea on Tuesday was forced down into the Black sea after one of its propeller got damaged by the Russian Su-27.
Brigadier Patrick Ryder further insighted that the Russian aircraft has been flying for over 40 minutes within the vicinity of the US drone before the incident.
“Our MQ-9 aircraft was conducting routine operations in international airspace when it was intercepted and hit by a Russian aircraft, resulting in a crash and complete loss of the MQ-9,” Air Force Gen. James B stated.
Russia responded that the US drone crashed after a “sharp manoeuvre”, Moscow denied that the two aircraft made direct contact during the unfortunate incident.
Russian defence ministry further said the MQ-9 Reaper drone was flying with its transponders turned off making it invisible and trackable. Transponders are communications devices that allow the aircraft to be tracked.
Reaper drones are surveillance aircraft. Of late US military brought down two flying objects over its airspace inclusive of the Chinese balloon that had numbers of antenna’s mounted on it.
