Students thronged MUBS parking today for Disability Awareness Day an annual event used to commend disabled student’s and its other stakeholders.
The day is also used to create awareness about equality between PWDs and others a motive to do away with career, academic and social discriminations.
Graced by Guild cabinet including MUBS Guild president, staff members, students amongst others, the event also is meant to recognise good performance of MUBS disabled students in nationwide University sports competitions.
Relatedly during the week, MUBS students of entrepreneurship and small-scale business led by their head of department Dr Christopher Kusemererwa took an applauding initiative and cleaned the nearby Nakawa Market as part of their interactions with the community and cooperate social responsibility.
