Tom Kintu, a Luzira Prison convict has emerged the overall top performer and garduates today at the Makerere University Business School 17th Graduation.
Kintu obtained a maximum CGPA of 5 to peak the list with a Diploma of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.
With a collaboration scheme between Luzira Prison and the Nakawa based university, this has been one of its kind for the best performer to come from prison among others.
Also among those who performed to the limelight is disabled Madina Komugisha a student of Diploma of Business Administration who scooped a 4.62 CGPA being the first in history to obtain such CGPA in MUBS under PWDs category.
Hundreds walked home with several Diploma and Certificate wards in various courses. Among the dignitaries included state minister for Higher Education John C. Muyingo, MUBS principle Moses Muhwezi among others.
