Busy as bee would not be a sufficeint word to describe the activities at the event that went down at Bell ObaFest at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo yesterday. Transmitted in over 3 big televion channels across East Africa including NBS and NTV Kenya for Uganda and Kenya respectively.
This year’s event which was one of a kind set to be graced in Kenya and Tanzania later was a succesful event with headlining artists giving their best. Azawi of Uganda, Bensoul and Nayshinski from Kenya among others.
A day before, Tanzania’s edition dubbed Serengeti Oktoba Fest brought grove to the party revellers at Coco beach with superb performances from East Africa’s finest Dr Jose Chameleone, Alikiba and Nyashinski all on one stage.
MC Deedan Muyira actress, media personality and a known radio personality graced the Uganda’s edition with spectacular and electrifying vocal that massively mixed up with the unceasingly salivating crowd. Mun G dropped on stage with his mesmerizing lyrics as crowed backed him up from one word to the next.
Tuning to what revelers like most, Tanzania’s vocalist Harmonize used the same event to confess his unending love for the ugandan queen of the thigh Winnie Nwagi.
Regardless we move to the next stop over, that is at Jinja Golf Course for the annual powerhouse source of the Nile event, THE NYEGE NYEGE FESTIVALS.
