Exactly five years later, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) returned to Arua District in a countrywide roadmap mobilisation tour but also to expand his political territories by opening the National Unity Platform (NUP) District offices.
It all begun in 2017 when a young musician (Bobi Wine) surprised Ugandans storming and capturing the political scene as evidenced by the mega support countrywide. Arua district is not exceptional, despite his sorrowful assassination attempt that claimed the life of his driver, Hon. Ssentamu didn’t give up instead he captured the hearts of several Ugandans who identified with him.
The NUP leader posted on his twitter handle expressing his excitement as he was overwhelmed by the support in Arua on arrival today 13th September that prompted him to postpone his scheduled tour in neighbouring Districts. Kyagulanyi who has so far been in Hoima, Mbarara, Iganga, Lira e.t.c applauded Uganda Police Force for their support unlike in the past where his campaigns were disrupted and supporters marginalised.
