Having been disguised and bound in a wheel chair as a vulnerable man in the streets of Kampala for quite a while, Police picked a 43 year old Kintu Mayambala and a resident of Biina Mutungo for possession of military related assortments and fire arm. Police raided his home and recovered among others Army Uniforms, boots as well as a short gun.
According to Police, Kintu has been sandwiching darkness and day appearing as a street beggar on the streets of Kampala. Police through their network of surveillance zeroed on him after quite a while of tracing with whistleblowers claiming the disabled man carried a pistol.
He got arrested a couple of days ago by KMP (Kampala Metropolitan police) outside Kalungu Plaza.
On further interogations, it was discovered that Mayambala also identifies himself with about three different namess; Farouk Mugabi, Tonny Antony Amuza, and Cowboy 43.
While being arrested he reportedly told arresting officers that he is a resident of Biina Mutungo.
Police of later has uncovered and arrested several related cases of guns within Kampala and the nearby districts.
