Finance Manager (01)
Job Descriptions
As a key member of the Executive Management team, The Manager Finance will direct and oversee the financial activities of the organization, direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth. The primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company and includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
Certified Public Accountant designation preferred. 8 – 10 years of experience in financial management required.
Accounts Officer (02)
Job Descriptions
Support the SACCO financial aspects and accountability according to policies, by laws and set Financial Accounting Standards- IAS.
- Assists the Accountant to ensure that SACCO payments are processed on time.
- Verify payment schedules for any mistakes and compliance to SACCO policies.
- Ensure timely payments authorization by following up with account signatories.
- Secure signatures for cheques from authorized signatories and delivering them to respective banks.
- Completes weekly journals for posting.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor of Commerce [Accounting] or Bachelor of Business Administration [Finance or Accounting] from a reputable Institution/University
ACCA or CPA qualification (or in the process of being certified, Level 2 minimum)
Office Assistant (01)
Job Descriptions
- Manage office welfare and cleanliness to enhance staff well-being and tidiness of work environment
- Maintain and arrange office furniture/equipment to ensure safety and security
- Supervisor office cleaners to ensure tidiness and good hygiene
- Prepare office tea and refreshments to improve staff well-being

Loan Officer (03)
Job Descriptions
- Receive and maintain proper loan clients register.
- Mobilize and enroll potential customers for various loan products available at the institution.
- Appraise/screen potential loan applicants and present their requests to the various loan committees at different levels.
- Keep proper records of clients’ loan security documents.
- Carefully study the client’s character, credit history and present income, to establish his or her ability to repay the loan.
- Qualifications
- The ideal applicant must hold a degree in Microfinance, Business Administration, Development Studies, social sciences or any other related discipline from a recognized Institution.
- At least 2 years working experience in a busy Banking environment or SACCO
- Prior experience in marketing, communications and public relations is an added advantage.
Supervisor Internal Audit (01)
Job Descriptions
Ensuring improvement of the SACCO’s operations in terms of; Governance, day to day operations, internal control systems and compliance to the laws and Regulations
Reporting functionally to the Board and Supervisory committee and administratively to the Managing Director
- Ensure the financial statements of the SACCO have been prepared in accordance with the IFRS, IAS and the SACCO Societies Act. This will also ensure that all the disclosure requirements in accordance with the rules and regulations are also met.
- Ensure that the loans of the SACCO are all documented and the necessary steps were followed in awarding the loans. The process of loan awarding should be and seem to be professional.
- Qualifications
Bachelor of commerce or Business Administration degree (Accounting or Finance)
Minimum of 5 years audit experience in a reputable organization
- Must have been involved in audit service of financial statements
- Knowledge of various Sacco software systems an added advantage
- Knowledge of government and other stakeholders rules and REGULATION
Human Resource Officer (01)
Job Descriptions
To Plan and implement HR policies and programmes for effective service delivery
- Develop and implement HR initiatives and systems
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Develop training and development programs
- Implement staff performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
- Follow up on medical insurance and counseling policies and procedures
- Implementing and updating Human Resource Management information

Officer Systems Administration (01)
Job Descriptions
The Officer will be responsible for providing effective and efficient technical and administrative support to enable the smooth functioning of the SACCO ICT system to facilitate business continuity in the URA SACCO office.
- Attend to all end users, enable end users use all business applications and hardware with regards to ease of access, functions and usability.
- Trouble shoot software and hardware failures
- Sensitize and guide users on new applications and ICT policy
- Manage user accounts, create and reset accounts and passwords for users
- Respond to users requests and liaise with second level support to resolve escalated issues
- Support direct trader inputs by installing virtual private Network and any other relevant application
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer science or Information Systems.
Must have at least 2 years’ experience in providing IT support in a reputable organization with a reasonable number of users
Investment Officer (02)
Job Descriptions
- Reviewing SACCOs financial statements to determine its financial stability.
- Build and maintain financial models to support investment analysis and decision-making.
- Prepare detailed investment recommendations for review by management.
- Generate reports detailing portfolio performance, risk, and exposure.
- Recommending changes to investment plans based on new information or changing circumstances.
- Monitor global economic, political, and market developments to identify opportunities and risks associated with the different investment portfolios.
- Conduct fundamental research on companies, industries, and markets to support investment decisions.
