The family of of Asia commonly known as Asia wa Charles confirmed her passing on in Mulago Hospital this morning by 4am. Pictures of her bed riden has of late surfaced on social media as she battles for her life. Unconfirmed sources states that she died of chronic stomach illness that necessitated an operation.
The public has been washed with several celebrities sending their heartfelt condolences to the family.
Among those who came out to send condolence messages include Ykee Benda, Chosen becky, Karol Kasita, Lydia Jasmine among others. “Tiktok won’t be the same without Asia! Rest in Peace” twitted Sheilla Gashumba.
Sources close to her state that she was admitted in Mulago National Referral Hospital for an operation. However, she did not make it after the surgery.
Known for her charming feature with Charles with conversations that can not pass without tickling your ears, she grew to limelight about during Covid by a youtube blogger SB4 media who rebranded her to fame until the last moment, She met some of the Uganda’s top celebrities in the music industry in Uganda including meeting Bobi Wine and performing in Pastor Wilson Bugembe’s concert in Africana .
