Once one is Holy, prosperity follows! The two are inseparable. Holiness is the work of righteousness, a place where you put yourself with God. Once you’re sanctified with God then you are holy. 1 Peter 1: 2 you must create a place where God separates you from what separate s Him from you. God separated the Israelites because he chose them to be Holy.
Continous presence in the Lord means holiness, sanctification means conditioning to be Holy.
Often prosperity is mistaken for wealth by marjority but to prosper means wellness. Wellness in the spirit, mental, relationships and finance. Most importantly to prosper one must exert righteousness. 3 John 1:2, God wants us to have both health and soul prosperity.
Most times believers are either ignorant or greedy in their pursuit of wealth. There’s a tendency of wealth accumulation not backed by holiness. Several believers have accumulated and multiplied their wealth in dubious ways.
Therefore, prosperity biblically is explained in the following five ways according Pastor Benita Blessing Gonyere, the Regional Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, Uganda. In her Sunday service ministration, she highlighted prosperity guidance that any individual seeking advancement in life must embrace.
Mental Prosperity – mindset is key in everything we do, aids decision making. Once you are mentally unstable, you cannot focus. King Solomon was highly mentally prosperous because of his wisdom to solve almost every problem. Psalms 78:41 explains that mindset can limit one from experiencing God’s blessings; bitterness, anger, pride etc affects one’s ability to be Holy.
Spiritual Prosperity- obedience in the Lord in itself is prosperity. Eating the goodness of the Lord has to do with obedience and willingness. Willingness comes from within. In the last days, our obedience will speak for us. If your not obedient, you will be cut off from knowledge. Once God cuts one off, they won’t get revelation Hosea 4:6. Therefore to be spiritually connected with God is prosperity.
Health Prosperity– only one who is in good health can have the zeal to walk the earth. It’s important to be physically, mentally and emotionally upright. Sometimes we need wellness in terms of nutrition and physical exercises. A balanced diet coupled with few exercise routine can put us in perfect health.
Financial Prosperity- Once we obey the commandment of God, there’s increase in the things around us. It’s rather by default that holiness guarantees increase. Deut 8:18, once we keep Commandments of God, He blesses us with wealth as promised to our forefathers.
Relational Prosperity- how we treat people matters alot as what goes around comes back to us. We owe to love not only our families but neighbours too. Matthew 6: 1-34, once you have decide to help others, blow not your trumpet by rubbing it on their faces. And always exercise forgiveness, for your father will return the favor.
