Wednesday the 21st September, the world is again angry with Putin Vladimir’s order of Partial mobilisation of her citizens into reserve forces as Moscow loses ground on the battle field. The mobilisation is targeting approximately 300,000 additional force in Ukraine. However a section of Russians; the Russian Anti-War Movement calls for nation wide protests on Wednesday evening.
It’s been seven months since Russia invaded the sovereignty of Ukraine, the socio-economic impact is alarming with thousands dead both soldiers and civilians, displacement of people and destruction of both private and public property.
Though the UN, EU have criticised the invasion, not much support has been devised with the exception of socio-economic sanctions as opposed to the military support requested by Ukrainian President Zelensky.
Territories like Finland said, they are closely monitoring Russia after Putin’s Mobilisation order. Kremlin said, Russia’s government is yet to announce mobilisation exemptions. Russia’s Defence disclosed earlier that students would not be called up as part of the force to strengthen Moscow’s force. There’s circulation and speculations on border closure though Kremlin Spokeman Peskov declined to comment.
Putin’s Partial Mobilisation is based on claims of NATO presence in Ukraine which NATO declined.
