If every parent understood that their only channel to bring children to earth is to fulfill God’s purpose, they would take in account the necessary requirements to train their children. Most parents choose their children’s path without involvement of God’s purpose. The don’t usually inquire from the Lord to understand the channels to align children to purpose.
When parents fail in their role, children face the harsh world with lost direction because their reflection of children values doesn’t help much. Grooming children is part of Discipleship. What you instill in children helps them determine how to deal with world.
Draw close to Jesus, read the word, for He will teach you how to love Him and love your children, and your children how to love you.
Matt. 16:24 Seek ye the Kingdom of God and the rest will fall in line. Endeavour to have intimate relationship with God, when you involved wholesomely in Christ, you are fulfilled. He gives you everything you desire. Learn to trust and choose God in every situation. The Cost of Discipleship is more about discipline and knowledge in Christ. Its costly because you have to seek Him consistently, knock until He opens the Door. Most times believers operate in cheap Grace; it has much to do with forgiveness without repentance. However a Christian must choose costly Grace which brings about change in your life. Repentance comes with forgiveness and change.
