Fire on the Mountain_Katallage Ministries Impacting Lives_KIU

Derived from the ancient Greek word “Katallage” to literally mean “Reconciliation”. Katallage Ministries is one latest spiritual hub around town to go vibe at. Located just before Kansanga’s coolest institute Kampala International University (KIU) opposite Pintoria House along UBA Bank branch-off stretcher, many lives are being changed under the stair-guide of the lead Pastor Ps. Edson Muhawe.

This comes shortly after the new normal of many churches mushrooming besides several universities such as Phaneroo of Apostle Grace Lubega, Prophet Elvis Mbonye’s Zoe Ministries amongst others with majority of followers being University students.

Pastor Kibukaire Happy one of the instrumental women of God at the ministry however said it was not by their own choice but by a distinctive Devine call that it has to be located there, She further added that plans are already underway to have other branches in all universities across the country starting with Ndejje University.

Kabalagala & Kansanga of recent has been in the limelight as one of the top hot spots for night businesses with high rate of thuggery & prostitution. Katallage is therefore taken to be a divine intervention to change the narrative of the place and save more souls.

While delivering his sermon at the ministries’ first Communion service Sunday, Pastor Edson Muhawe encouraged the congregation to always live in spirit and abide with each other for Christ has already redeemed them all by shedding his blood on the Cross, however this can only be done through accepting and believing in it by yourself, referring from the story of the last supper in Mathew 26:26-28  “ …while they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying “ take and eat; this is my body”, then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them saying, “ drink from it all of you, this is my blood of the New Covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins, do this in memory of me..” and Genesis 3.

The four-month-old ministry is already doing wonders and changing lives of several KIU students and the surrounding community. This international ministry is already composed of many young and multinational spirit-thirsty proactive congregation from Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Eritrea and Ethiopia etc. Their Sunday services which is always streamed live on all their social media handles including Youtube & facebook starts at 9.45Am -1pm online and physically at Katallage Ministries church.

Joel Watongola the Administrator revealed to the Campusa Magazine that the ministry is so optimistic to change more lives and impact generations through preaching the word of God to all Creatures.
