The entire family can be in bondage; either selective or collective family spirits no matter the location in the globe. Selective bondage singles out a particular sex while collective children of the same parents and from polygamous families. Henceforth a selective captivity. Whereas some may understand the family patterns, they have done nothing about it, others are just ignorant.
During family deliverance service known as Power Must Change Hands, the Pastor pointed out clearly that in several cases problems are as a result of;
- Unpaid vows
- Covenants
- Captured spouses through witchcraft- these usually admitted through food and sex projected in the dreams, with a command to manifest in location agreed. Such families live a life of struggle because foundation was wrong(deceptive). For them to break through or overcome, it takes devine intervention. A case in point; in such families, inlaws tend to have control partaking decisions of the home.
The Regional Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries Pastor Benita Blessing therefore referenced the cause to Eze 16:1-4, where she indicates that the birth place and nativity(ancestral place) as original cause of the family bondage. The Amorites were Baal worshipers and did everything to make money. Similarly family members tend to seek ancestral spirits to intervene in their issues. Hittite women accordingly were disrespectful and arrogant. In the same verses, the Lord reference the cutting of amblical cord not as physical but spiritual separation from Clan Spirits of father and mother. Otherwise once we are not rooted in Christ and not groomed in the word to strengthen us, they will rise up and fight.
Children of God, the battle is from from nativity; father and mother’s house. Gen 12:1-3, just like Abraham, the Lord requires that we detach from our kinsmen/relatives in order to obtain His Blessing. In Gen 12:7, God promised Abraham’s descendants land and commanded that He/they build an Altar to serve Him. Contrary, families have altars for ancestral gods in the land the Lord Provided; altars of marine and serpentine authority. These evidenced in families which have same disease like diabetes, cancer and Hiv/Aids. It can be selective or collective. In a family of ten, only one breaks through as a successful individual.
These trend and bondage can be broken by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal Saviour; we must go through purification through consistent repentence, prayers and fasting.
What to do or solutions.
1. Be genuinely born again.
2. Engage in one on one family prayers.
3. Ask the Lord to intervene.
4. Prayerfully make demand and get back what you have lost.
