The remanded city lawer Male Mabirizi couldn’t make any statement today at court citing intensive hunger.
He couldn’t con
tinue with the offensive communication case put upon his shoulder before Buganda Road Magistrates Court citing hunger and hoodwicking in the Maximum prison. Mabirizi said he wasn’t ready to proceed with the case because he is hungry and not in a proper state of body and mind adding that he hadn’t eaten anything since yesterday on arrival from Kitalya to Luzira Maximum Security Upper Prison where he had be remanded earlier last month.
He claims he left all his food at Kitalya including boxes of biscuits and that he had paid for food for ten days and also paid 7,000 shillings for chapati. The case was pushed till tomorrow Wednesday and our team will keep you posted.
