Hundreds of freshers flock MUBS to attend the ongoing first year’s orientation week as it enters day three.
The event comprising of a number of well laid programs started on Monday with key note speakers ready to avail emotional, financial, academic, social and religious support.
“Campus” a word that these first years will have to familiarise themselves with is taken to be a place of academic endowment as well as a den of pain due to subsequent life events. A place of freedom where one decides on his or her own as well as take accountability for every decision made in their personal academic life.
The same kind of orientation is ongoing in all MUBS Regional Campuses such as Jinja, Arua, Mbarara and Mbale Campuse.
With display of a number of sales at 2024 MUBS trade bazaar, The Campusa lense witnessed a number of these “angels’ shopping from one vendor to another in preparation to to ignite the semester. “For all your shopping needs, please come to MUBS ceremonial grounds, shop and discover the excitement that this year’s bazaar has to offer.” A notice was vividly speaking loud at the Nakawa based Campus.
“Be mindful of your security both at campus and in your hostels. Watch out for conmen and women and chose wisely those to associate with”. ASP Kato, OC Police MUBS, advised freshers during their second day of orientation at MUBS main campus.
Orientation of first year and second year entrants on undergraduate programmes A/Y 2024/2025 at Mubs Jinja Campus is taking place at Naranbhai Primary school, the home for MUBS Jinja Campus.
