BASOGA Nsette emerged the best in this year’s 2022 MUBS Guild cultural Gala that was held on Thursday at the MUBS basketball ground.The event that saw the long standing depending champions Acholi drops to number 2 was attended by hundreds of students and politicians attached along their tribal sentiments.
The Kyabazinga lads beat up other 14 cultural associations who took part on the same. Basoga were second in last year’s cultural gala and have been able to move back to top while the Acholi dropped from 1st to 2nd.Banyankole came 3rd, Bakonzo 4th and Baganda 5th.
The MUBS annual students’ cultural Galla at MUBS main campus has over years organised as a unifying factor in the university with multiple tribal students. The event is one of the biggest cultural expos where Ugandan and international students of different cultures showcase their various cultural elements.
The event is organized by the Guild in collaboration with the Dean of Students.
